A. Yes, our systems allow you to upgrade at a later time. You may wish to add smoke alarms or indoor and outdoor cameras, or home automation.

Q. How much does a home security system cost?
A. Great question! The overall cost of a new home security system will depend on how many devices you use, their level of sophistication, and whether or not you are subscribing to home automation features or video monitoring and analytics. We offer multiple affordable packages to suit different security needs of our clients.
Q. I have pets in my home, will they trigger the alarm system?
A. We can install special switches/ detectors that don’t respond to pet movement but still detect motion. These are particularly effective with small pets.
Q. Will installing a home alarm reduce my insurance premium?
A. Another brilliant question. It is always best to ask that question directly to your insurer. Most insurance companies will apply a discount to your premium if you have a monitored alarm system installed. The premiums you pay vary with different insurers and they take into account your location, coverage of the system and previous claims.
Q. I just lost power. What happens now?
A. There is battery backup if your power is out or cut. We also offer wireless options that don’t rely on phone lines.
Q. What happens if my alarm is triggered?
A. A plan is developed that will run through all the ins and outs of your security system and can tailor a response plan that works for you. Some popular options include: having notifications sent to your mobile smartphone and monitoring and assessment by our security-monitoring center who will contact yourselves and the police in the event of a security breach.
Q. Do you have all the required insurances and qualifications?

Q. What is your warranty?
For labour it is two years. Equipment is warranted for two years, fully inclusive warranty. This is a legal requirement by Australian law. So, if you’re being offered a long warranty, it probably means that the provider has supplied a high-end product, and they have confidence in their offering.
Q. Should my business have CCTV?
CCTV has been shown to create a safer environment for businesses. They can protect assets, stock, staff, business owners and customers, and can help deter thieves and vandals. The recorded footage can also help solve crimes and improve work safety.
Q. Do I need a phone line for my alarm to work?
Not only do you no longer need a phone line, but we also recommend that you choose another communication path. Ideally, a combination of internet and 4G-LTE cellular, but in a pinch you can use either of these alone. The vast majority of phone lines are not considered a reliable communication path at this time.
